Overview
DMH Stallard implemented Clio Operate (formerly ShareDo) to enhance matter and file management. To ensure people adopted the system confidently from day one, the firm partnered with iTrain to deliver a training programme combining practical, task-focused learning with ongoing support.
This was iTrain’s first Clio Operate engagement. Working closely with the firm’s internal trainer, the iTrain team quickly upskilled, gained in-depth knowledge of the system, including key customisations, and delivered both onsite and remote sessions to meet the needs of different teams and locations.
To reinforce learning and provide easy on-the-job support, iTrain also produced eight Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) covering essential workflows such as logging in, navigating matters, using search and list views, creating documents, and leveraging iManage integration.
The Challenges
- Adoption of new workflows: People needed to learn new ways of working and understand how Clio Operate had been configured specifically for DMH Stallard. Training had to be practical, relevant, and accessible to both onsite and remote attendees.
- Rapid upskilling on a new platform: As iTrain’s first Clio Operate project, the iTrain team needed to gain a deep understanding of the system, including customisations and integrations, to deliver accurate and confident training.
