Overview

Real Estate Management (UK) Limited (REM) planned to implement Microsoft 365 Copilot across the business. Before rollout, they wanted to ensure employees understood AI, knew how to use it safely, and felt confident about the change.

REM partnered with iTrain to deliver AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot training designed to simplify complex concepts, address common concerns, and encourage adoption through practical, relevant examples.

The programme consisted of interactive lunch-and-learn sessions for around 60 employees at REM’s London office over a three-week period. Each one-hour session built progressively on previous learning, helping attendees develop confidence and understanding over time.

The Challenges

Introducing AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot marked a significant shift in the way people would work. Employees had questions about how AI works, how to use it responsibly, and what impact it might have on their roles.

The key challenge was to deliver training that was clear, engaging and relevant for people with varying levels of experience, while also reinforcing REM’s AI policies and guidance. It was equally important to demonstrate practical value and ensure Copilot felt accessible rather than overwhelming.

The Strategy

  • iTrain delivered a tailored series of interactive lunch-and-learn sessions onsite at REM’s London office, incorporating the firm’s own AI policies and guidance.
  • Topics included AI fundamentals, responsible AI use, Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities, Copilot in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams, Copilot Chat, and effective prompting techniques.
  • Sessions were designed to be practical and discussion-led, using real workplace examples to make the content relatable and easy to apply.

The Results

The training gave employees a clearer understanding of AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot, helping them recognise practical ways the tools could support their work.

Feedback showed that 80% of attendees believed Copilot would improve their efficiency. The interactive approach also helped reduce uncertainty around AI and encouraged positive engagement across the business.

By combining practical guidance with REM’s internal policies, the programme established a strong foundation for successful Copilot adoption and ongoing use.

What our clients say

“The training made AI and Copilot easy to understand and relevant to how we work. It addressed concerns, showed real value, and was delivered in a very professional and engaging way.”
