The Challenge
Shakespeare Martineau were rolling out iManage Work 10 as a new document management system to the firm.
Shakespeare Martineau engaged iTrain to support them in their roll out of iManage Work 10 to over 600 users across their offices in Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Stratford, Solihull, Leicester, Sheffield and Milton Keynes.
The Strategy
iManage was rolled out in a phased approach and the training included a two-hour hands-on classroom session, support from our floorwalkers for 1 week after going live to assist the team at their desks with any questions and to provide one to one sessions with each team member using a checklist to address any individual training needs.
Several super users were also selected from each team and attended an extra two-hour training session to explore iManage Work 10 in more detail than the standard training so they could continue to provide post implementation support.
iTrain produced 30 quick reference guides on iManage Work 10 with each focusing on a single topic such as ‘How to create a new version of a document’.
We also produced short YouTube style videos on the top ten iManage questions to assist people when at their desks.
A full eLearning package was developed covering iManage Work 10 which could be used as a replacement for the face to face training or to refresh people on specific topics when using the new document management system for the first time.
The Results
iManage Work 10 has now been successfully rolled out across the business and has been adopted extremely well.
